Dr. Joshua Yorgason
Dr. Yorgason graduated from Columbia University in 2000 with honors, and in 2004 from Columbia College of Physicians and surgeons. He training in Dallas, TX for 1 year at UT Southwestern in general surgery, and then did a one-year research fellowship at the prestigious House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, where cochlear implants were developed in the US. He completed his Ear, Nose and Throat residency at the University of Utah, and then practiced for 3 years with ENT Specialists in Salt Lake City, where he continues to consult on ear-specific treatments, and cared for pediatric patients at Primary Children’s Medical Center. He joined Dr. Paparella for an advanced otology/neurotology fellowship in Minneapolis, MN, where he helped continue the Paparella cochlear Implant program, and where he participated in the Advance Otology Fellowship Consortium. As an information and website specialist, he has enjoyed helping other ENT graduates find fellowship programs through this consortium of fellowships. He then practiced in Bismarck, ND for 2 years at Sanford Health, where he helped establish the cochlear implant program in Bismarck, and performed the first bilateral pediatric cochlear implant in North Dakota. He has now returned to the twin cities, to partner with the internationally acclaimed Paparella Institute, where he sees patients in their Minneapolis clinic. He has now established the NEW MN EAR & SINUS CENTER in Blaine, MN. He also sees patients in Duluth at Essenia Health. Dr. Yorgason has extensive experience in pediatric ENT. He has privileges in the Fairview, Allina, and North Memorial hospitals and surgery centers, as well as at Masonic Children’s, Gillette Children’s, and Children’s Hospitals of Minnesota.
